The fabric meets ASTM D6413 standards, ensuring it will self-extinguish when exposed to fire, making it suitable for non-arc flash environments.
Flame-Retardant Properties:
The treated fabric is designed to self-extinguish when exposed to flames, with an after-flame time of less than 2.0 seconds and a char length of less than 6 inches on average. Note that the flame-retardant properties will diminish with washing, and this vest should not be used in environments with arc flash or flash fire hazards.
